Driver/Waste Operative (Immediate start)

The Package:

Salary dependant on experience

Requirements:

Valid 7.5t driving license (HGV 2 preferable but not essential)

No more than 3 points on your license

Truck mounted crane qualification (preferred but not essential)

Valid CPC Card

Positive work ethic

Good customer skills

Good computer skills

Knowledge of the local area would be a benefit

Covid - double vaccinated + booster

Duties:

Pulling and emptying a range of waste bins

Deliver/collect bins to and from customers and events

Driving a 7.5t waste collection vehicle

Carrying out vehicle checks

Supporting driver in managing rounds
Some office-based duties – sequencing rounds, booking additional jobs, and customer enquiries
Bin repairs/cleans

Interacting with clients during waste rounds and when delivering bins

Promoting SDS’ services

Jet washing vehicle/keeping vehicle cab clean and sanitary
